Call for Papers - Witchcraft Accusations and Human Rights: Stakeholder Responses to UN Resolution 47/8

Join a critical global conversation at the University of Livingstonia, Malawi (10–11 November 2026) for a pivotal conference on Witchcraft Accusations and Human Rights: Stakeholder Responses to UN Resolution 47/8.

Bringing together scholars, practitioners, faith leaders, community authorities and advocates, the conference examines how diverse stakeholders are responding to, and can more effectively address, harmful practices linked to witchcraft accusations. Through critical dialogue on collaboration, accountability and innovation, participants will engage global and local perspectives to shape stronger human rights responses and future partnerships in this urgent field.
